General Members Meeting

Meeting called to order by Vice-President Doug Wilkes at 7:15 PM

ELECTION OF NEW OFFICERS AND E-BOARD:

2003 E-Board Election votes were counted by Don Watrud and Alex Melanic. There were a total of 103 votes submitted and counted. The results were as follows:

Officers:

President-Susan Walsh (uncontested) 102 votes

Vice-President-Doug Wilkes (uncontested) 102 votes

Treasurer-Jeff Lawrence (uncontested) 100 votes

Secretary-Bob Pearson (uncontested) 101 votes

E-BOARD Seats:

Still Photo (3-year term): Susan Biddle (uncontested) 101 votes

Video (3-year term):

Ed Eaves 62 votes
Stu Cohen 22 votes
Sean McGarvey 8 votes

Ed Eaves elected

Treasurer’s Budget report:

Jeff Lawrence was not in attendance so a brief financial report was presented by Wilkes. WHNPA current assets stands at $79,710.96. Of that, the General Fund is at $55,729.24; the Solomon Smith Barney account is at $3,981.72. A copy of the current financial report is available from the Secretary.

General discussion followed on the presentation of future video contest winners. A compilation of the Video winners is now available on DVD format. Membership discussed the need to continue to use frame grabs for the yearly book. Generally everyone agreed that the images need to remain in the book, even with the DVD available.
