Featuring photographers who were embedded with the military, and photographers who were "unilateral", the panel will also discuss whether the practice of embedded reporting produced the most vivid pictures to date of what combat looks like from the front lines, or did it compromise the integrity of their photography? Or both?  And, for a view from the military, a representative from the Pentagon, will discusses the genesis of the embedding program and the military's assessment of its performance.
