TENT MAN
J.D. Glass is a homeless vet living in a tent in the woods of Prince William County, Va., in Prince William, on June 6, 2009. He has alcohol-related health problems that prevent him from working and all of the nearby shelters are full. He asked that a 'nice' photo be taken of him so that the local paper could use it for his obituary. After this Blog post was published, Glass sought help and is currently in recovery.
