There was an outside chance that this junior senator from Illinois would be nothing more than the candidate likely to bow to the heavy footprint of the candidate Hillary Clinton. But in recent U.S. history, no other presidential candidate has produced such an emotional reaction from an otherwise disenfranchised voter base by uniting people from various ages, ethnic and religious backgrounds.
