SISTERS
Classy Morant, 104, displays a poignantly tender unconditional devotion
for her sister Rozzie Laney. She has been caregiver for the bedridden
92-year-old victim of Alzheimer's for many years. Her niece Gloria calls
it, "No greater
love." She has assistance from a DC health aide agency but remains fiercely
independent, refusing any thought of a nursing home for her beloved
sibling's care. Rozzie quietly passed away New Year's eve at their home in
Washington, embraced by family as Classy wished.
