Haitians press against the gate of a make-shift hospital in hopes of being seen by American military doctors who arrived aboard the Baltimore-based Navy hospital ship USNS Comfort, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on Sept. 2, 2007. The Comfort is designed to treat as many as 1,000 casualties at a time.
